This is the new uprated version of our popular compatible fridge filter. It's the obvious choice for customers migrating from the Magic Water Filter EF-9603 or WSF-100 (DA29-10105C) who want the very best quality water from a very compact cartridge. It also replaces the old 062501 and now boasts improved performance based on new carbon block technology, and still only about half the cost of the original! The dense carbon block matrix removes all suspended solids down to 1 micron in size. This included waterborne pathogens which hit the headlines like E.Coli, Cryptosporidium and Giardia. This is in addition to it's excellent chlorine removal capacity. It uses the same secure compression fittings as before to ensure easy trouble free installation. This filter is the ideal replacement for any fridge freezer using an extenal in-line cartridge including Samsung, LG and Hotpoint. The filter should be changed every 6 months.
